A little over a month ago, I was overcome with joy when I saw this image on my computer screen:
Yes! I was in Pottermore! I’d have early access to amazing Harry Potter information! I would be sorted into a House!
Well . . . here we are more than a month later, and I’m not in yet! I suppose I should consider myself lucky. The first wave of beta testers were met with more bugs, and perhaps by the time I get in everything will be fixed and more amazing than I can imagine. Still . . . the general population gets access on October 1, and that is less than a month away! What is the point of getting early access if it’s only a few extra days?! (Okay, I lie, I would totally consider a few extra days worth it. Still . . .)
All this waiting has given me extra time to consider what House I will be sorted into. For those of you who don’t have the House traits memorized, they are as follows:
Gryffindor values bravery, daring, nerve, and chivalry.
Hufflepuff values hard work, patience, loyalty, and fair play.
Ravenclaw values intelligence, knowledge, and wit.
Slytherin house values ambition, cunning and resourcefulness.
I know there is no way I would be in Gryffindor (bravery? Ha!), and I think I would cry if I were in Hufflepuff (although it is a fun word to say). I’ve always considered myself a Ravenclaw, but I have a fear that I will turn out to be a Slytherin! (I totally had this conversation with my cousin Kayli, and we both thought we were Ravenclaws but feared we would be Slytherins, and she is already in and a Slytherin!).
Anyways . . . just thought I would share the stress happening my life lately. . . obviously working full-time still leaves me with plenty of free time! Haha.
